you haven't lost your appetite for arguing
with anyone who doesn't share your undying faith in LTBH.

------------ I am not arguing. I am simply presenting the other side of the issue.

It seems that no matter what facts are presented, you
continue to refuse to even consider the notion that the trusts can be successfully traded.

----------- You only present short term facts. You ignore the long term. Look to any major study done and conducted on trading. Each and every one states that though a few may be able to make a go of it. The majority fail and fail miserably. They trade too often. They trade with no strategy. The expenses of this constant trading and the tax consequences eat heavily into any gains. And they tend to miss the majority of gains on any rebounds. All of those are long term facts. If your such a successful trader than show a long term 20 + year history of successful trades. I have shown a almost 20 year success with these trusts and buy hold and accumulate on weakness.

For example, anyone who sat quietly holding PWI for the $3 1/2 dollar drop from $10 1/2 to below $7 is hardly better off
with the $1 dollar in distributions they collected while it cratered. They are down 25% net net net whether you want to
acknowledge it or not.

------------- And you completely ignore what it is I have said. You do not buy at the cycle tops. You buy in the average and below average ranges. And that being down 25% is from the recent highs and is only on paper. It is not a realized loss. Since the whole idea is not to sell at lows. That person has not lost anything. But he has really gained good current high yield income. And that is the whole point. Again all quite simple facts that you just do not want to accept.

You can go ahead and hold them until the cows come home for all I care. I'll take my enhanced returns from trading.

------------ Since we have not seen any mention of your enhanced returns trading these for the long term. They do not exist. I on the other hand have been quite vocal about my accumulations and the fact that I am receiving several thousands of dollars each month in real , thats real, current monthly income. Even with the fall in distributions the extra purchases I have made have added to that. I'll put my real record against your imagined one anytime.
The others can decide for themselves which path they will choose for themselves. They can follow the short term and suffer the consequences or follow the long term and reap the rewards. As I said the long term data is there for all to see. All one has to do is check it out.
