A lot of it is just 60's envy. When Iraq invaded Kuwait and Desert Shield was deployed, a number of friends of mine started going off about demonstrations, and sit-ins and what not. I had only one thing to say to them: "What the ....?" :)

Yeah, just because you grew up hearing about how your parents had sit-ins in college and how cool and neato it was, doesn't mean every single historical moment is an invitation to the contemporary version of a slumber party...

Some people need to grow a brain and learn to use it. Quick.
