Well put, Proton, and I agree. I believe our leaders are verbalizing restraint, but are well prepared to go to cataclysmic levels, should the next round fired our way require it. While many Muslims privately warn that there is a powderkeg of unrest if we misstep, I'd say there's a bigger powderkeg of unrest within the US..... and if it is ignited, the outcome will be ugly but it will be certain. Bin Laden is a flea on a patient pit bull. But patience can run out. Feiglin has no patience and his ill-disguised contempt for Christian mercy fogs his vision of the capacity of a secular US. He forgets we have four cheeks; one may be turned and two struck, but the exhaust from the other two is more than mere beans. (Ick! What an analogy!)
