It's a public thread. Maybe people who read it for news don't care who the posters are responding to. Maybe Don really likes you anyway, despite your rather obvious mental blockage on what it actually means to ignore somebody.

BRACKNELL, England, Oct 03, 2001 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Dell(tm) today announced the new Dimension(tm) 8200. Featuring a bold new chassis design, this is the most powerful and expandable multimedia Dimension desktop for consumers and small businesses.

The Dimension 8200 systems are powered by Intel Pentium 4 processors with speeds up to 2GHz, Rambus RDRAM, the latest in graphics cards and other peripherals such as a 100GB hard disk drive, which delivers the necessary performance to effortlessly run video editing applications, 3D games, and various other high-end entertainment and business applications.

Dell designed its latest Dimension 8200 chassis with an emphasis on performance, style, expansion and ease-of-access. The midnight-grey chassis opens like a clamshell, making it quicker and easier to access internal components such as modems or sound cards. For convenience, Dell has added two USB ports and a headphone jack at the front of the system so there is no need to reach around to the back.

"The 8200 combines the latest Intel Pentium 4 processor and high performance peripherals to deliver new levels of performance to customers who are running advanced applications such as video editing, digital photography, music and MP3 creation, and entertainment titles; all delivered in a stylish and easy-to-use new package," said Pierre Vigna, EMEA Dimension Director.

Dell Dimension 8200 prices begin at GBP629 excluding VAT and delivery(1) (GBP796.65 including VAT and delivery). For customers interested in high-end, multimedia performance, a sample configuration includes a system with Intel Pentium 4 processor at 2GHz, 256MB of RDRAM, a 100 GB, 7200RPM hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce3 graphics card, 16X CD-RW drive, 16X DVD-ROM, harman/kardon (HK-695) speakers, M991 19-inch monitor (18-inch viewable), Turtle Beech(tm) audio card, 56K V.90 data/fax/modem for GBP1549 excluding VAT and delivery (GBP1877.65 including VAT and delivery).
