I hope so, I mentioned before that in a perverse way the WTC thing has given the individual a stimulus to rein it in, as he/she should be, rather than going balls to the wall with their personal balance sheets. I think this will make the coming time a little bit easier for some as they were jolted back into sanity. The argument that the WTC thing hurt the economy is really an argument that the tragedy made people see what they already should have seen, and made them act accordingly; it's an argument for denial by those who need excuses for their bad business decisions. F corporate America, let them sort it all out. I'd rather the gov't spend the cash public works, or more appropriately put a few more willing workers on the job to fix the damn highways, than try to help out the private sector and destroy confidence, free markets, and much more by the time they are finished.
