I would hazard to guess that AMD employees will get about the same as before, since the bonus compensation was always not a big portion of the packet for most, unlike Intel's carrots. --Right, no incentive to work harder, to make the company a success. You get "the same as before", no matter what. In times of hardship like this, I am not sure which compensation model is more sustainable in terms of keeping core employees. Hence your excessive :-) may be premature. ---Right, at intel, in times of plenty, everyone shares in it, via higher bonus's (1/2 days pay, for every 2% profit). In times of hardship, everyone is also asked to share the pain. That's "Fair". If it means that I accept a lower bonus, so that my co-workers can keep their jobs, and help with the work, so be it. At AMD, in times of hardship, the employees suffer, except Jerry Sanders of course..... He still gets his "Same As Before".... Of course his 2300 Laid Off Employees can't say the same..... Can they....... Semi
