Jim

I bought the stock and wrote calls on part of my position. The call premium is a good one. I wrote the Oct calls for $.90. I'm basically a trader, and try to earn my kept each day. Hard market to work, and I wonder what the market will do once the fireworks start.? Really did not want to write the calls, but I bought on margin. My guess is the fireworks start in two or three days.

Hard to take a longer term view with war hanging in the air. No telling what can grow from this. AMD is a steal here. Its the low cost leader. I have never owned a Intel processor. Take a look at CATS

Jim-
AMD has broken hearts as long as I can remember. I, for one, will NEVER buy that POS. Kudos to those that call milk it for a dime.

Jim AMD's cash and short term investments dropped 34% from 4/01/01 to 7/01/01. Does this worry you? Take Care
