Since the Jews didn't have a country for most of the time before 1948, they hardly (as a country) contributed much to science. A lot of jewish citizens of other countries have contributed a lot, but so have a lot of arab citizens.

But if you do insist on counting up the contributions, I insist on your using Roman numerals for the Jewish contributions. And do try to avoid algebra.
