I am still the kinder gentler type by thread standards...I want the retribution thing, but I also want to deal with the socialogical issues that cause terrorists so that we can eliminate the cause. Gloop and Company's solution is probably a bit more expediant and probably less futile than mine. I still think that any further attack on the U.S. will change our approach from a principled strategy where we do our best to avoid collateral damage to that of one where we go into annihilation mode. I believe that it behooves Afghanistan's neighbors and the moderate muslims in the U.S. and other countries to reign these psychos in. I don't believe that some of these countries understand how this peril can translate directly to them. Fair or not, they will have to pick a side and their committment will have to be more than just lip service.
