BRIGHTON, England, Oct 1 (AFP) -
Tony Blair is to warn Tuesday that an attack is imminent against the forces of Afghanistan's ruling Taliban militia and Osama bin Laden's training camps, said sources close the British prime minister on Monday.

Blair was to reveal details of a US-led military offensive with possible British participation in a key speech he was to deliver Tuesday afternoon to the annual conference of his Labour Party in Brighton, southern England.

"They (the Taliban) had the chance to surrender the terrorists (which they are harbouring) -- they chose not to," Blair will say, according to the sources.

That article also mentions the hijacker whose group killed a bunch of people including two Americans back in the 80's......had served 14 years in a Pakistani jail and was recently "released" (Question: Under Islamic of even Pakistani law, is the penalty for mass murder only 14 years?)....and apprehended by the U.S. and is being held in Alaska.

They are being very hush hush about where and how they arrested this guy. But they did say they are holding him in Alaska currently. Now I am guessing he didn't get arrested while touring the national parks there......it looks like we have decided not to play nice with the formalities of exradition treaties, and instead are just sending crews around the world to capture these people and fly them here to face justice.

It's about time.

pretty convincing....

Sounds like he is speaking with a certain amount of pride. I wonder if his Mother is proud now......did you notice that she was at the American Hospital in Paris.

Al-Kalifa bin Laden was previously reported to have checked into a hospital in Paris on Sept. 12, the day after the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, D.C. The French magazine Le Point said she underwent a checkup in the American Hospital’s cancer unit.
