I don't think it is a gutsy short at all -- very reasonable risk reward. Where in the heck are increased earnings going to come from?? ... the refi boom has run its course, the economy and stock market are souring -- where is all the new buying and mortgage issuance going to come from ... For someone who is patient, it's almost a slam dunk. All the cries of how unassailable and how safe the stock is just makes me want to sell more ... waiting for a good bounce at this point. Good luck.
