AHHH, Great news ! If it holds... The subject is WAR. One that is never talked about : the "pacific war" Morocco has waged an won against Spanish Shara ( a bit smaller than Texas )in the mid seventies. Franco was dying and Spain abandoned Rio de Oro (no gold though, but lots of iron ). The Moroccans took over with their "green march" : 400K people marching south (after the train rides.) The 300K Sahraouis were scattered, the UN looking elsewhere, Algeria complained. Later there was scattered fighting. But the takeover succeeded, and the Sahraouis, still fighting from time to time, are never invited to a TV. How come ? If one is looking for some justice ?

Carolyn, I have one more suggestion. Any defamation of any religion be barred permanently from this thread. Anyone violating this ban be kicked off. First a warning, second time permanently. You make the call on defamation. What do you think, its your thread? Hal

Agreed... And you're right...we're not going to solve the problem... The problem will solve itself... one way or another, on the terms that either side dictate to the other. All we can do is watch as it unfolds. Hawk
