Well, this is no small step.
Italy is the 3rd largest consumer of Pharmaceuticals in Europe behind France and Germany and ahead of the UK (4th) by a small margin.

In my opinion the timing of the MRA news is just an update of the process, reported only to coincide with a draw.

My guess is, that Rebecca does have a sense of current market conditions, and realized she couldn't (shouldn't) release news on a draw without some positive news to go along with it.

I would have preferred Germany or France to be in the list (who wouldn't), but Italy is a great step. And Luxembourg's 400K population won't add much to the bottom line, but it is another country.

Now let's see who is going to distribute.

Hi gang: drafted this yesterday, then lost my server connection...ah life on the beach.
Putting a positive spin on this NR (EU limited approvals), what I like is the fact that we now have what, 6 or 8 prospective news releases to come on EU approval alone. Irregardless (as one of my clients used to say) of DMX's underinspiring investor information service, this will provide welcome exposure.
Thye only negative I see is the fact that we may not see an announcement of a EU distribution partner for some time (6 months?) and that will mean no up front payments to DMX. Which in turn means, equity share dilution. I appreciate the market we are in, but I fail to get all goosebumpy at the news that we managed to sell 235,000 shares for US$2.70 (C$4.25). In other words, we continue to pay for a crummy IR service, lack of analyst coverage ('don't be a stranger' sounds like out of a Martha Stewart 'how to' on IR).
There, great to vent. Thanks all. anyone on this thread in AMRN(NAS)? Fox.
