"Has any other country attempted to spread the word of the Gospel? " What an icredibly narrow and ignorant question! The answer is, of course, a loud

Yes!

Armenia!

Georgia!

Greece!

Rome!

Italy!

France!

Spain!

England!

Russia!

Austria!

and many, many more!

The fact that you would even ask that questions indicates a narrow Christian Zionist and Protestant view of the world. When one reads American Protestant literature, one gets the feeling that Christianity started in England with Henry VIII and Elizabeth!

I embrace Christians of all nations as brothers and sisters in Christ. The Christians of Russia, Armenia, Iraq, Palestine and Egypt are every wit as precious in my site as the Christians of America and England!

Hi SOROS, I am very much sobered by the possibilities before us now. I choose not to surmise whether this or that is judgement, but rather am yearning for more of His heart -- that is, how He views all this. Frankly, I think it is quite a bit different than many of us think. I don't know what He thinks of it at the present, so I wouldn't presume to speak for Him. You wrote,"America better not be offended by the question, but the leaders better recognize where America is and not respond to current events with only pride and their own strength and vengeance. They must deal with the problem, but help the American people to repent where needed and go on the attack WITH god's renewed hand of protection." I couldn't agree more about the import of the attitude we corporately have as a nation, but I seriously doubt that the call to humility and repentance will come from gov. officials. Unless, of course, there is a swell of humble prayer before the Most High calling for Him to move our leaders in this way. Certainly then it could happen. So, this then is the value... To pray humbly before our Maker and ask him to move upon our gov. officials, as well as so many other prayers. What else is deeply valuable at this time besides humble prayer before Him? Gotta go. Appreciate the links to stories you give. Thanks, Kevin
