It's a coin toss that depends on three things: (1) whether the attack cripples the economy and delays a recovery for a very long time, (2) whether there are more attacks either here or in europe and (3) how successful the US military is when we do respond and how visible that success will be.
I think #1 will go away as a worry if numbers 2&3 are successfully addressed. The market imo has already gone down far enough to price in a recovery only in the second half and a moderate one at that. If all goes well, perhaps we will have a robust recovery beginning a bit earlier than that. mike
