if people save rather than spend there is one small problem with this line of thinking........the word IF

"The best way to stimulate demand is to give people some money so that they can spend it," Bush said. Well, in Washington State our only choice may be to save for the future. I read that Washington State will be the third hardest state hit by the recession. When jobs are in jeopardy, people may have no choice but to save. Our tax refund arrived, but, because of the recession, we will not use the money for a new purchase. Instead, we will use it to pay for items already ordered which were made in America by Americans.
