The trick with stimulus is not to raise the cost of borrowing in the process -- as I mentioned a week or so ago: biz.yahoo.com Our problem is that we will have to borrow money from foreigners to inject stimulus into our economy -- are they going to want to lend us that money? At what price?

"Sources said the leaders were looking at tax breaks for businesses, including those that would allow them to write off more quickly purchases of software, computers and equipment." I wonder if they can pull this off -- could be interesting for software companies -- and their stock.
