Looks like the shorts may have started to move on to greener pastures. The bankruptcy rumor nonsense seems to have been designed to squeeze the last few drops of blood from the rock and it now appears that it's Q's turn to get the same treatment. This is exactly the sort of endgame that occurred with banks in 1990-91. My guess is that it will be the same happy ending for the survivors as well.

A Briefing.com Technology Analyst on ON24 this am says to avoid GX as its ability to service its large debt is contingent on revenue growth which is questionable in the current environment.

As an aside, MFNX received $611M in financing to stave off Chapter 11. MFNX did lower revenue for this year by some 15% in that release but says they will be EBITDA positive in early 2002 one year earlier than previously projected.
