'For starters education' - for finishers, and all the way through as well, this is the key imho ... and the core of a decent education - to learn a second language well, inside out and backwards, to be comfortable thinking in it ... then a working knowledge of a third, fourth, hey why not twelfth - there is so much else that comes along with the words and the conjugations ... quite a conjugal affair -g- ... for canadians it makes good sense to learn french, for US nationals spanish, for mexicanos english, these have practical uses, but all should have some basis in latin and greek ... clearly recent events have demonstrated the utility of arabic ... if anyone wants to learn japanese kanji, i know a mexicana who teaches it in el DF -g- Education makes smaller and more successful families, the effect is directly proportionate to the depth and quality of education of the parents, and to the quality of education available to their children ...
