I can understand why not... This particular reality is a pretty horrible thing to have to face, and I keep thinking I'll wake up one day and find it was all a bad nightmare.. (not to be overly melodramatic)...

There are always evil ideals being promoted around the world... And the US has, in part, been responsible for either ignoring, or even exploiting this evil for our purposes, so long as it didn't directly impact the American people. And we're no different that the Japanese, or the Europeans, or even the Chinese and Russians in that regard. Everyone is vying to influence and control events, either to advance their own interests, and/or so that others don't threaten their own government and/or people.

The people who committed this act of terror represent ideals that must be destroyed, because such ideals can only exist and grow by causing others to be intimidated.. They can only exist is others remain too afraid to destroy those espouse them.

This is a hard reality to accept... Just as was the attack upon Pearl Harbor...

Everyone has a different threshold for becoming outraged.. Obviously, our threshold is just a bit lower than some of these other folks... :0)
