She actually buys the raw materials and makes her own, even ointments for external application and eyedrops. She says the eyedrops are extremely painful for a few hours and then her styes are relieved - sure, I'm convinced. But she is a real believer in anything alternative and nothing conventional. I think that a lot of alternative cures are a result of blind faith, as in psychosomatic, just as many medical problems are psychosomatic in nature. (How about that! I used "psychosomatic" twice in the same sentence!). :) Chas
