I am not thinking revenge at all Jerome, just thinking logically, something you and James are having trouble understanding. I said force must be a part of our response and than deterrence requires use of nukes if weapons of mass destruction are used against us. It's a fact that deterrence worked during the cold war. Your discussions of the religions is even less meaningful. You once again are shooting from the hip with your allusions to the talmud and koran. You are looking for a solution that satisfies your ideology not a solution that would work. As a matter of fact Islam is one of the three western religions and is much closer to christianity and judaism than it is to "oriental" religions. If the world trade towers were in a moslem country, three weeks wouldnt have elapsed. The US is looking for a measured response. Why dont you acknowledge that. mike PS The Jewish holy document is the Torah or Old Testament. The talmud is something else and not written by God as it is believed the bible(old and new) is. Get your facts straight. PPS Also what israel is doing to the palestinians is dictated by the fact that since 1948, the palestinians have been trying to drive them into the sea. What is Palestine passive resistance you allude to? I have never seen it.
