I heard this story yesterday on a radio station here in Seattle. One item left out of this article, but heard on the report yesterday was BL said to his mother "you will be so proud of me."

Al-Kalifa bin Laden reportedly checked into a hospital in Paris on September 12. The French magazine Le Point says she had a check-up at the American Hospital's cancer unit.

The doctors referred her case to the US Special Services Clinic for removal of the malignancy emanating from her uterus. Radiation therapy is being considered.
