Here are the Terms of Use for Silicon Investor. If SI sanctioned making threads that are only inclusive of specific people, they would provide a feature for this (at one time they did have something like this).

siliconinvestor.com

SI gave the ability to create moderated threads which allows the person who created the thread to exclude people. I imagine that SI Admin is laughing at the requests for punitive action when the creator of the thread refuses to use the features given.

I think Jorj addressed your concerns on the moderated thread deal. Rather amusing actually when the person who started the thread can easily exclude people from that thread with just a push of a button. I'm sure the powers at SI are going what is up with these clowns and why do they keep sending me names of people who are posting without their permission. I have a vision of a person jumping up and down threatening to hold their breath until they die:)

Subject 37386 I enjoy the discussion on this thread. All views are OK as long as the delivery stays good. Pretty good place to pick brains of people you don't agree with as long as your polite:)

I've already written to Jeff about you. Yes, there is an open thread about current events.
It is called, "Foreign Affairs." It's highly rated!
