Nortel to Cut More Jobs, Reduces 3rd-Quarter Revenue Forecast

Brampton, Ontario, Oct. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Nortel Networks Corp. said it will cut more jobs and trimmed its third-quarter revenue forecast to $3.5 billion.

The job reductions will give it a workforce of 45,000, the Brampton, Ontario-based telephone-equipment maker said in a news release distributed by Business Wire.
