I would think you're living in a dream world if you thought that either of these things could ever be possible. AFAIK, Intel and Microsoft have a great relationship, but I see your point that if things went sour, then they would lose a lot of opportunity between them; although, Microsoft's monopoly would probably buffer the damage on their side.
