Two more thoughts about real estate. It might be important to remember that the real estate market is coming down from an incredible high, so percentage declines in prices or number of homes sold won't tell us much for a while. This market was due for a pullback, regardless of economic conditions. Also, the next two quarters will ALWAYS show the year's worst numbers for real estate sales, builder performance, etc., so things will look worse than they might really be. It's a seasonal business.
