On a little side deal here. Wife gets another knee operation on Thursday from the break she had November of '99. She postponed the operation so she could watch the off spring of her mare that she had bred and was born June of '98 do his first horse show.

She made a deal to have the mare bred in '95 but the high $$ stud infected the mare. Rebreeding in '96 and the same happened. Outta Oil. He's in Texas now.

Took the mare down to the neighbor's and crossed with their low $$ stud Tennessee Walker, the mare was a paint. Hoped for a spotted walking horse. He was born a sorrel. Grade horse, not a pure bred. Just a horse.

But he was very athletic. At 12 hours old a dog tried to chase him and he chased the dog. He was also very friendly to people. Played with the dogs and cats.

He became a half ton of puppy. Sue sent him to a trainer. At 3 he was so calm and what they call dead broke, no onery things, they used him as a kid horse, usually reservered for older horses. No charge for boarding.

Well last Saturday he was entered in a show. Ride the circuit and jump the obstacles. 4 classes running against older horses, 20+ entries. 4 ribbons. 2 seconds and 2 3rds.

Rambi --

Sorry to hear that you're under the weather. Take good care of yourself, and give Dan plenty of chances to show what a sympathetic and supportive husband he is. Sometimes it takes us men a few false starts, but given time and patience we can come through!
