What planet is all of this insane stupid beyond belief buying coming from? For two nights in a row now there has been huge buy imbalances on the close orders. It almost reminds me of the first big break in NT and the huge ensuing rally that followed.

well, not yet, obviously. but looking at the p/c's and other sentiment indicators i'd say the life of the rally is probably limited. however, as we have seen in the futile ramp off the late March low, derivatives strategies tend to magnify the moves, and that is the case in this rally too.
still, i'm in watch and wait mode...i want to see a reversal, preferably close to a cycle turn, before playing downside potential.
