OT: Bach and BVSC have a lot of stuff in common, musically,
mathematically and emotionally, even in terms of humor
(well, Mozart was better in that).

The fascinations north europeans have with north and
south african music is probably the differences but
still the common aspects.

One should not forget that the national music of finns
since 1900s is the tango, one place of birth Cuba, another
Argentine.

Before that many parallels can be found to Eufrat and
Tigris, Djingis Khan, american first citizens, easy to
pick whatever one wants, even horny, independent girls from
russia (one more popular lately)

Some claim melodies and accents are based on language,
northern dialects usually accent at the first syllable,
except swedes and english, some point a little to the
climate and hunting habits too.

Going nuts in Finland was probably a deadly climatological
habit for at least half of the year, not to forget it is/was
the same in many opposite climates.

Population densities might also have its influences,
regular big bands or more individual family tapping
of body parts.

But the basic emotions, sounds, bodily or oral, are pretty global.
(maybe except for the clicking sounds needed in the
lonely bushes of deserts like south africa, although
finnish comes pretty close, in the lonely thundra)

The bones and how they move are obviously important too,
not just the mouth, the quacks or the clicks.
