Srex, the photos all come from spaceimaging.com. The credits in the photos I believe go to the interpretation of content graphics added to the photos. A few photos have info that I believe came from someone at the new york times. As I said before anyone can see the detail of anyplace in the world that is available to the public. What the military can do is way beyond this.

This place is a barren wasteland and virtually all movement can be tracked any time of the day in virtually all weather.

" a photograph is not exactly an editorial. Do you think they have been doctored?"

Why would you ask me that?......doctored by whom and for what reason?

" would say the NY Times is a very liberal paper, "

and I would say you are very wrong....please show me an example of liberal bias in the Times news coverage and tell me what newspaper you consider to be better anywhere in the country......in the world.....
