Orson Welles narrated some documentary I saw in Grade school called The Man Who Saw Tomorrow. It had a bunch of stuff in there about Nostradamus and I believe there was a lot of John, Book of Revolations stuff. I recall scenes with sheep.

I also remember scenes in it of Breshnev standing over a massive battalion of tanks. The flick was kinda eerie, and kinda scary. I'm not one of those who believes in that Notradamous stuff too much, but I believe there were references in that flick to the MidEast and a guy with a purple turbon. I don't recall if Nostradamous mentioned the word "Taliban" specifically though. ;-)

cheers,
pigboy

For anybody who believes in the Nostradamus pseudo-science crap, just issue the standard challenge: Pick the quatrain of your choice, interpret it in one way and one way only, giving names, actions, dates, and locations, as the "prediction" of an upcoming event. On that date, either they're right or they're wrong.
