Best Buy stores got XP last Thursday. Checked 3 stores since Sunday, just got back from the last one. Inventories of PC's almost gone. Display models pulled and sold, both for PC's and Notebooks. One store sold over 50 PC's Sunday afternoon, and could have sold more if they had them. They usually sell 8-12. Monitors selling too so it's not just upgrades. Numerous young and early middle aged couples looking/buying.

Oddly, it appears they are selling a lot of "network in a box" kits as well. They were out of stock on several brands.

This will probably show up in the channel checks by the better analysts in the next week.

QQQ options and LEAPs

Re -- <<Are you buying LEAP puts or LEAP calls ?>>

Wrote January '03 Puts, Bought Jan '03 Calls. Will repeat in a few more weeks. Net cash cost of zero, but it ties up margin capacity.
