Imagine the increase in the "search for [financial] safety" there must be in order to counter what it seems a deflationary period. I say this because of the recent decline in the price of oil and the likelihood that some countries will increase production (lowering the price) because their main source of revenue is still oil... I imagine that other commodities will suffer the same fate. Gold as a commodity would face the same fate... except that this feature of becoming the Protector of Capital (woooo it sounds like a comic book character), could give it some up push.... I am going to have to go "sleep on it for now"... Thanks for the gold links... I am reading them here and there. Like you I think I would prefer to find a good collection of gold stocks...
