Hi chalu2; If it came down to biological warfare the advantages are all with the United States. First, we produce all our own food, so when every nation on the planet shuts down air traffic, exports and imports because of the new plague we'll still be eating. The Middle East won't be. Second, our expertise in biological engineering would allow us to easily design a deadly virus whose only cure is to take daily showers. The U.S. would escape largely unscathed. In the unlikely event that the enemy (and the French) figured out the cure, we'd make billions from selling them the soap at artificially high prices.
