Now I ask you a simple question: Have you ever "eaten the flesh of the Son of man"? Jesus said: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, ye have no life in you." Jesus also said: "Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinkety my blood, hath eternal life; For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father; so he that eateth me, even heshall live by me." That was from St. John Gospel chapter 6. There were many so-called "disciples" who pretended to follow Jesus even in his day. But when Jesus demanded that they "eat his flesh and drink his blood" "many of his disciples went back and walked NO MORE with him." Do you find it difficult or even impossible to obey and follow Jesus's words in John 6?
