Seems that there have been posts from you showing that Samsumg is producing "mass" quantity of DDR, if so are they paying royaltieson the DDR still and going forward.

Dan Burton, you need to realize (or you may already have) is that Bilow's knowledge, while it may be much more extensive than most people on this board (he claims to work in the industry), doesn't necessarily mean he is right. Human emotions effect everything we do and is one of the reasons why smart people make bad decisions.

All bad decisions are not made by dumb people. It is obvious, Bilow is emotionally attached to this DDR/RDRAM issue, which I am not (trying very hard to stay rational, although i'll admit it's tough when I own Intel shares).

BWAHAHAHAHA!!!

LOL!!!

Those of you with long memories probably remember the MAJC, the RDRAM compatible chip that Sun and Rambus couldn't talk enough about two years ago. Where is it now? Here's a reminder:
content.techweb.com;

So it should be very apparent, that Bilow is just as bad as Rambus morons as he calls them. I'd call them Rambus cheerleaders. I've stopped reading Bilow's posts that talk about how DDR is gaining all this support and how companies are dropping RDRAM like a dead fly.

hardwarecentral.com

Fri 9/28/01 -- In one fell swoop, Samsung Electronics has put RDRAM firmly back on the memory roadmap. This week, the Korean firm announced a new RDRAM format, which will more than double chip density to 576Mbits and increase potential memory speeds to 1066MHz. In the face of increasing prominence for the various SDRAM and DDR memory formats, this is big news for several important reasons.

Of course, Bilow would never post a article like this. And if he has, then i'm sorry, i stopped reading those posts by Bilow.

I'd also question Bilow's emotional state. He seems as though he is afraid of the Motley Fool RMBS board, because he knows there are many RMBS bulls over there that understand the industry as good as he does if not better.

Hi Dan Burton; Re: "... Samsung ... if so are they paying royaltieson the DDR still and going forward."

Samsung forced Rambus to give them a license agreement that eliminated their royalties for DDR and SDRAM, and replaced it with a fixed payment per quarter.

This is suspiciously like the Intel agreement. It means that Rambus doesn't collect on the DDR ramp up.
