The Russians have a lot of intelligence which they are sharing with us. Their mafia supposedly deal with Bin Laden on heroin and may procure weapons materials for him in return. A few weeks ago when I was there they warned us that we had a common concern with islamic terrorists that we should be working together on. At the time I thought it was sour grapes re the Afghan loss. With further study I see that the fundamentalist movement is a greater problem for them than for us.
