It's a fringe theory that we are all just a bunch of coherent waves of energy in a vast sea on nothingness. We are all interconnected and basically, a projection out of nothing, consisting only of energy.

Coherent means that we are stable and self-reinforcing, like pleasant sounding notes in music. Time, then, is just the path that these coherent states make as they are projected through this void. It ties together notions of consciousness, meaning and substance. The things that keep something from happening is only the energy barrier between successive states. That's why with thought (coherent states of information), we can lower those barriers. Thought is just a particular manifestation of a general quantum state.

As an example, the amount of energy that it takes me to get to Seattle has been reduced by the catalytic action of the people who designed the planes, and the science behind them. 200 years ago only God could have gotten me from the Bay Area to Seattle in 2.5 hours. Today, men and woman do that every day by the hundreds.

One of the consequences of this holographic view of things is that those things that are impossible today become possible in the future with very little difficulty by mutal reinforcement. It is a very cool way to view life and the universe, IMO.
