How do you deal with the EMP effects? Any intelligent attack would have a fair fraction of the first wave knocking out all the electronics as it's first priority. Once that happens, anything else is more or less redundant.

We have a lot more resources to protect ourselves then anyone has to attack us. We can afford to spend a lot of money to defend against one type of attack and still have money to spend against other forms of attack.

Tim, spending more money on defense will not protect us any more than we are now. Already 16% of our budgetary resources goes to defense and was of no use on 9/11 which means we now have to spend a ton to bolster our internal security.......and you want to add to that burden by developing starwars as well. It will break the bank.

We will become another Israel for sure with stagnant growth and constant inflationary pressures.
