Brook: Re: "Sentiment of the consumers is key and on this note the weekly ABC/Money Magazine consumer sentiment index rose to +1 in the Sep 30 week from -1 in the prior week; this was the best reading since the Aug 26 week, indicating that sentiment has recovered all of its post-Sep 11 decline in this poll." Not surprising considering how deep patriotism runs in this environment. Most people have figured out that these guys wanted to destroy our economy. But what people do and say can be two different things especially with all the lay-offs that do not seem to end.
