I too like the Mark Douglas book and have it on order since Sunday. I am now looking forward to it even more.

BTW, re uptick rules, NYSE and NASDAQ regs vary slightly on how stocks can be sold short. This may be part of the confusion. I'll look it up unless someone out there knows.

Nice to see that I am in good company on this opinion.

Perhaps the company just got a little worse since the Douglas book is sort of my trading Bible. <g>

The book works for me on a philosophical level, too, in how it asks you to think in certain ways. These ways carry over into life outside of trading.

For example the single idea that the market is not an enemy to be worked against, but rather an entity to be worked with, has many applications.
