The Taliban not only force their women to remain totally covered up, but insist that they have all the windows in their homes blackened, so men cannot see them.

I get the picture that a lot of Arab men just cannot control their sexual urges, so Arab governments feel it must protect the women from the men, by keeping the women covered up. What else could be the reason?
