Joe, I covered the bus attack at length on our board. Hijacker was of Croation decent.

A 757 was hijacked in India today, but it was thwarted somehow. It is now on the ground, passengers are OK, but have not yet left the plane.

As for the biological agent inside a package attack in Franklin, TN. . . here is an article on it. The reports I heard from spokespersons at the nearby hospital said that workers complained of vomiting, nausea and dizziness after the package made what an employee of Primus called a "whooshing" sound. FBI is investigating. That info is not in article.

Primus evacuates buildings after employees become ill

FRANKLIN — Employees of Primus Automotive Financial Services were evacuated from their corporate headquarters this morning and at least 18 people were taken to Williamson Medical Center with inhalation symptoms.

Laura Bustetter, a hospital spokeswoman, said the victims were being treated ''as anyone who has inhaled something that made them feel uncomfortable.'' She called their ailments ''minor.''

The evacuation of the two five-story buildings came at around 11:30 a.m., soon after emergency personnel were called to the site. A police radio message said officials were launching an ''odor investigation.''

According to another message heard on a radio scanner, employees were told not to leave the Primus property. Residents of nearby apartment complexes and subdivisions were not being evacuated.

Primus, a division of Ford Motor Credit Co., is Williamson County's largest employer with approximately 2,500 employees. It was unknown how many people were in the building at the time of the evacuation.

The facility is located across Interstate 65 from the CoolSprings Galleria and was a cornerstone of the Cool Springs development when it opened six years ago.
