The 486SX did not have a disabled FPU, it had none at all.

I believe some of them had a disabled FPU but I defer to you on this if you say none of them did. The difference between a disabled FPU and no FPU isn't relevant to the point I was making.

The 486SX did not have a disabled FPU, it had none at all.

The early version of the 486SX had a disabled FPU so it could be put quickly into the market. The time was then spent to eliminate the FPU from the die.
