I agree that was a cheap shot and Lord knows, the last thing we would want in the White House is a Policy Wonk

Wait a minute, by stating that you have harmed our resident policy wonk's Presidential chances.

Jeeez, be careful with your language.

I was somewhat bothered last night to hear Mr. Bush, asked for comment about Tony Blair's magnificent speech to Labor Party convention, say, well, he "echoed my own remarks." Squint.

As we watched Tony Blair's forceful presentation on CSPAN early yesterday morning, I asked my wife if Blair might like to be President... <g>

Definitely a stretch. Too many forces at work stirring that up. Only if he lived would that have ended sooner.

"This may be a stretch but had he stuck with savvy politicians, Vietnam might never have occurred."

LLLefty,

LOL. Those folks who wish to push Tony Blair down as a "USA lackey" have picked up some extra ammo there -g-

But if it's the only type of mistakes that Bush is making, there is little to worry about.

I'm rather impressed with our respective leading politicians of recent. That's a first in a long time.
