you wanna bet? you originally had it perfectly right. the states did enjoy their own sovereignty prior to the ratifying of the constitution and they did have to surrender a great deal sovereignty to join in the union.

i'll make the globalists a deal. as soon as the entire world agrees to live under the principles of the united states constitution, trade can become fair. as long as there are different govts, different cultures, different religions, different values, different ways of doing business, "free trade" is a pipe dream--just like communism.

that is the difference between the decision of the states to cede sovereignty to the laws of the u.s. constitution, and the united states ceding sovereignty to countries that don't operate like we do.
