Hey James,

Instead of posting the same long, off-topic post to 10 threads, would it not do to simply post it on 1 thread (with a title) and post links to it on the other 9 threads?

While I'm no stickler for always being on topic, one of your OT posts takes up as much bandwidth as 20 to 30 typical on-topic posts.

Cheers,

HD

Global Cellular Handset Sales to Grow Only 8 Pct. to 440 Mln.: Strategy Analytics
October 4, 2001 (TOKYO) -- Worldwide cellular handset sales will grow by 8 percent in 2001 to 440 million units due to slow replacement activity, Strategy Analytics Inc. reported.

In its release dated Sept. 18, it said that the market would rebound after 2001, resulting in 20 percent annual growth in subsequent years to pass the one billion mark in 2006.

"Western Europe is largely responsible for the slow market in 2001," said Phil Kendall, director of the Strategy Analytics Global Wireless Practice. He added that handset sales in the region will fall by 13 percent as the replacement market fails to make up the shortfall left by low subscriber growth in a saturated market.
