Try this one on for size. How about if the universe changes to meet our expectations? As we grow, the universe grows with us -- always being just a little more complex than we thought, sort of like Zeno's paradox. If we are made in God's image, maybe at the end of (or, maybe, just further on in) our development WE get to be our own gods reigning over our own creations, and God gets promoted to the God of gods? Just a thought... probably considered blasphemous by some, but I don't think so. I only ask that we become kind and just gods.
