Hayduke, speaking of charts: I had posted 2 links on Monday and Richard told me today one did not work. It works now. These charts show the August SIA [ww chip sales] number. It's lower than the July number but the decrease is less. Too early to rejoice. Since SIA reports only a 3 months moving average, maybe the Sept. number won't be too bad. As you know, chip sales drive SEMI equipment orders. suite101.com suite101.com All the charts are at suite101.com I don't put them on geocities any more. This SEMI equipment cycle is sure different.
